Investigations: King Residence (redux)
 |
Last month we told you about the King residence investigation. Specifically how remarkable the investigation turned out and the amount
of evidence that was revealed. The full report and evidence has been posted on the DSGH site and YouTube.
|
Dirty South Ghost Hunters has been invited back to the residence due to the fact more paranormal activity has been
observed since we left! We are very excited to return and are preparing to collect even more eveidence if it will present itself! You'll definately
want to keep an eye on our site for more reports about this exciting location.
In case you missed the original report, I've included the evidence links below:

Notes from the Field: Ghostly Touches
by: Shawn Bechtel

I find it interesting that while there are some pretty interesting personal experiences that are discussed on the in Internet involving the
phonomena of ghostly 'touches'. Everything ranging from soft taps to viscious scatching! However there are not many theories on how this is possible!
|
In this article I focus the discussion more on the possible 'how' of ghostly touches than the 'what'
(cause). It is my desire that the reader will take a moment to
go 'hmmmm' after reading and offer their thoughts and ideas as well. Its seems to be a wide open topic!

Ghost Tech:The Ghost box (redux?)
by: Shawn Bechtel

|
Last year we did a review on this little gadget, and the review was less than stellar. However, due to some interesting results we have seen in the
field reported from other investigators, by similar devices (scanning radio tuners that continuously scan all frequencies), we are willing to give this
little device another look.
|
The reason for this change of heart has to do with the King investigation and the large number
EVPs that was collected during our first investigation. It is hoped that testing this device in
an environment that already has produced a copious amount of evidence may prove to be a fertile
testing ground for gathering evidence of paranormal communication.
Be sure to keep an eye on the DSGH Forum! We will be sure to keep you
informed of our experiences!
Opinion: Is Being Skeptical a Bad Thing?
by: Shawn Bechtel

|
After watching a paranormal reality show recently, I was amazed to see that skeptics were being referred to as though it
was a bad thing to be 'skeptical'. As obvious as it was, I had not been noticing that there has recently been a trend in
quite a few of these shows to do the same. |
In this article we discuss that while there are 'extreme' forms of skepticism (where no amount of evidence will allow them to
change their mind from what they want to believe, or what is popular belief),
overall, skepticism or more to the point critical thinking, is a good thing to
have. Do you consider yourself a skeptic? Have you been put off
by someone saying "Don't bother telling them, they are a skeptics!"?
